Chill Out
A full cooler will maintain its cold temperatures longer than one that is partially filled so it is important to pack plenty of extra ice or freezer packs to ensure a constant cold temperature at or below 4 degrees Celsius. Keep the cooler in the shade and cover with a blanket for added insulation. You may want to use two coolers: one for drinks, as it gets opened more often, and another for food.
 
  Clean
When handling food, wash your hands and cooking surfaces often.
