I grew up on a farm so fresh produce was readily available. We always purchased our beef and pork from our neighbours as they purchased our products as well. It was quite a shock for me to move to a more urban centre and not have good local fresh reliable product available to consume. I have always found the Co-op to be reasonably priced and provide a good selection of produce and meats that I know supports my neighbours.

It's easy to spot the atlantic food logo so you will know where the food comes from. When you eat atlantic foods, you know it's fresh.

I like to shop at Coop because of your support for local producers and your record for this for such a long time. Now all your competitors are trying to advertise that they do so as well but they do not have the long term record that you do.

Hello, we love the Coop store and its staff as they are so community and customer minded. We are local farmers of beef cattle in near by Malagash and even though we don't sell our beef to a direct retailer we do appreciate a company who cares about quality and community. Everyone should know that best produced products are found here in the Atlantic region, and that is a major reason why you should support our Coop stores. They support our local and regional producers, all aspects of our food production. The value is there and the customer service is second to no other. We cannot say enough good about supporting our own economy and local producers. We love the coop as they have been promoting locally produced food before it ever became fashionable to do so. You need only shop at a Coop store to experience the difference.

We have a small garden and the children all help from start to finish. When they go into the co-op they can see what farmers hard work has produced for us and they like the idea of supporting local farms!

WE like shopping at the Co-op because the produce is always so fresh & what impresses me is the neatness of the store. I always buy my meat there too.

The best time of the year is when the local vegetables and fruit come into the store and you can get it on our plates. The taste is so much better than what has been sitting on the shelves for months and the nutrition is also so much better for us. What we can't grow ourselves we get at the store and all the other grocery stores say Atlantic but if you read the labels closely enough a lot of it is brought in from across the seas or up from down south for atlantic companies, thats why I go to Co-Op I know we can trust them to be local.

Farming is a tough industy today and we need to support our local farmers. If we don't support them now, we won't have them in the future. Thanks coop for promoting local farmers.
